We are a creative company located in ChongQing city, the team consists of three mates. We started in a working studio, and we are focus on bringing happiness and new experience of Chinese architecture toys you may never forget! We currently have 3 products ready to sell, but we'll keep working and bringing up more ancient architecture to every DIY lover!

Maonest: Our story!

We are Maonest, we are brought together by a shared passion.

It all started with a chance encounter. The first time we saw an magnificent ancient Chinese buliding, TaiHe Palace of The Forbidden city, we were so amazed by the thousands of firm wooden structures and how those unique parts support such a great Palace for so long and so firmly. We were completely shocked by the firmness of the subtle structure. After finishing our visit, we wonder, could we recreate this sense of greatness with our own hands?

We began with the most fundamental woodworking skills: We learn to plan line by line, carving and sanding each component. We are having the thought to show the greatness of Chinese wood architecture to everybody.

We aspire to go further. From every small pavilion to a great hall, we will continue to learn, experiment, and "recreate" more classical Chinese architectural masterpieces in our own way. It is a long journey, and we are grateful to have you with us as we are doing better and better on this path of discovery and creation.

The design concept of us, Maonest, is to bring Chinese ancient architecture in a brand new way to everyone to get relaxation, joy in your free time and Meanwhile the beauty of Chinese architecture!

Our team features in presenting Chinese ancient carpentry, mortise and tenon architecture worldwide.

Our aim is to spread ancient architecture culture for everybody to see and feel! We'll work harder and harder to achieve our goal and always bring something impressive!
